As above, "leaking" battery indicates way way too high a voltage, so new alternator is most likely needed, a lot cheaper than a new battery every time you use your car, and if too far overcharging can EXPLODE with acid and battery casing thrown everywhere, only seen it once, on a burnt out citroen BX, that owner was to tight to fork out for a new a battery for, was a antiques dealer and lost £3K of antiques in the fire/burnt out car, so he claimed for anyway!!
