I took the trap off and it had water in it and it was pretty clean so as far as i can tell it was fine

Has it previously been O.K and has recently started smelling and has nothing been altered anywhere on the drains or plumbing?

Yeah its all been fine till the w/end

Is the over flow on the sink blocked with soap and crap and smelling?

Pretty sure it fine

Is the smell definitely coming from the sink waste?

Think so going to try and cap it off and see if iit still smells

Is there any sign of water leakage from the W.C pan?
