I got Avez A wheels, 18" x 8.5", ET25 offset.... I've also got 6 pot front brakes (Hi-Spec) . I had to put longer wheel studs on from rallydesign... they weren't expensive.
The wheels caught slightly on the calipers so as a stop gap I put 5mm spacers on the front.... this wore out my front tyres in no time... I wouldn't advise using spacers....
Soooo... I got some thick washers (about 2mm) and spaced the calipers inboard slightly. This small ammount was enough to make the wheels clear the brake calipers and my car is now sat on 18" wheels with the correct offset (ET25). No spacers required.... just 4 washers to space your caliper away from the wheel... costs pence....
