right - got my policy docs in front of me (Elephant) and it says
"The policyholder may also drive with the consent of the owner a private motor car not belonging to him/her and not hired to him/her under a hire purchase agreement.

so there you have it according to elephant you can drive any car not belonging to you 3rd party. No mention of the car having to be insured and there is no asterisk on the payment denoting further terms.
Thats interesting, i always assumed the car had to be insured itself, i wonder if that is the case with EUI then who have bell admiral and elephant.
Dosn't really help me yet as i'm not 25 yet and they took away the flexi bell policy where you could add drive any other car as long as you were over 21. Dad wont even let me near the 911 when i offered to insure it fully comp as well though
