i would try a forte engine flush, no other brand just forte as i know the stuff works 100% then drain the oil and refill with new in the correct grade and see if it works, you may have to get the forte from a garage as it is usually trade only,
if that doesnt work i have the complete cylinder head with all vvt stuff on so message me and we will see if we can come to an arrangement
