Sensor in the middle (large and brown) is the thermotime switch.
To the left (looking from front) and just under this is the coolant temp
sensor (yellow).
Burtons do the yellow one , never seen the tts advertised new.

Best of luck, I'm having similar problems and getting really fed up
with the car altogether. Bottomless pit for wasting money.
