slightly out of topic here but years ago i purchased the xtr f+r caliper setup , had a metal rod and cable with extra length pads ..........fook me is all i can say. They were lethal and caught everyone who had a go out! Me being the 1st person to go straight over ass over tit , immense braking power , i,ve not been involved for years but had a quick go of others with new decent stuff and nothing touches them imo.
I,d definately go with the advice above ^^
