I am the most consistant dreamer, i dream almost every night and it is the most random shit, i cannot control dreams as such but i dream about the same places over and over. When i dream about being on holiday its always night, the sky is black and the sea is black and the sun never shines.
Last night i had a dream i took the front off the dishwasher (that i dont have) and inside was living a mouse like creature with pointy ears, it jumped out from its straw bed it made in the dishwasher and attacked me so i sucked it up the hoover till it got stuck in the hose and stamped on it!!
100% ditto. I'm not sure about the whole dreaming about the last thing you were thinking of before you go to sleep.
Last night I dreamt about my old house when I was a nipper and our old dog. I was somehow the age I am now, came home, dog wags his tail, I throw a ball for him and walk into the kitchen, he follows dragging his arse so I somehow know he needs a dump and run to the backup door shouting at him to hold it in. I can't find the key and turn round to find he's laid a cable a dinosaur would have been proud of......
and then I woke up.
Now, I know for a fact I was not thinking about my old house, the dog or giant turds yesterday, so where it came from I have no idea. May have been lucid as when I woke up, I swear I could smell dog shit.
