I visited the scrap yard at the weekend and cam accross two styles of bearing mount

The mondeo had a steel type and a alloy type

I believe the focus is mounted off the sump which is no good for me

The mondeo hanger is a nice alloy 3 bolt bracket that mounts to the back of the block

I've got one to try and mod for my set up to see if it works
