Mate, i really doubt its the metering unit, every one says theirs is naff but its just not set up properly, or has duff sensors etcetcetc. If it runs the metering unit is probably alright.

A good one will cost you over £100 anyway.

As for low fuel pressure (if it has low fuel pressure) people sometimes buy a new van tank and a new rst tank, cut the swirl pot out and weld it into the van tank... or you can use the whole rst or cosworth pump cradle, you don't specifically NEED the swirl pot.
