The intrinsic problem with copying maps is that the map it's based on is the intellectual property of Ford, so I would presume (I don't know for sure) that you can't get legal on someone's ass if they've stolen your map which is, in a roundabout way stolen from Ford?

The starting point for the superchips map is stealing the ford one!
I should think a court case is the last thing any tuner ripping off and altering manufacturer software wants!
