I have known of similar 888's but it does seem most aren't that luck with them lol
I do know if anyone was likely to kill a set of tyres it would be you though so they are obviously not that bad !
Kumho is another option, and Hankook, people at the ring were raving about the Kumho semi slick a few years back.
