Not that it probably makes a great deal of difference, but its a 53-plate car rather than a 52-plate. Also found out that the damage it sustained was front end, bumper, wing, few suspension parts etc... but like I said, its been repaired extremely well and drives (before engine went..

) spot on too.

I totally agree, the garage are 100% absolutely trying to take the piss out of the guy (my gfs wee brother) who doesn't have the greatest of knowledge about cars/repair costs etc... saying things like "oooh, you'll be lucky to get £200 for it as a non-runner" to him. Which pisses me right off, don't like to see people taking a loan of others because they're not up to speed with stuff like this.
