I too have given up everything (twice for the same girl) and she royally shit on me both times and has the cheek to txt me on a regular basis to ask how im doing and tell me her little lad (who I was planning on adopting) is great and keeps asking about me.

Its all because she has no confidence and trys to bring everyone down to her level.
