Default arb bush

I am thinking that my arb bushes where the bar mounts to the front chassis legs are worn and are allowing the bar to flex too much and catch the downpipe when conering?? Im thinking this because when I jack the car up and take the weight off the bar, it is a good few mm clear of the downpipe. My question is that the original rubber bush has a slot cut in it so it can be prised over the bar into position, do the polly ones have the same design or do the have to be pushed on from the end of the bar meaning it has to be disconnected from the tca?? Any help much appreciated

Cheers Robbi
