It will still use the same head so you are restricted in the headbolts that can be used.

I see the main advantage as being the fact he can supply it with any deck height, Martin Hadlands engine proves thats a worthwhile way to go although I would imagine his conversion is still cheaper than the new block though.

make me wonder how these super high power us v8's and even 4 - 6 cylinders dont seem to suffer the same issues that plagues big power cossies with gasket issue ?? what they using diffrent to us ???





i did mention to mark about the idea of raising the liner and machining the head to create sort of a cap over the cylinder , thus sealing the bore , sealing water and oilways could be done with a stock gasket ,

it was something he had thought about ,


i wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt have a head on the way shortly
