The fact is that job must have been worth £1100 for a firm to be employed to do it and everything you get with hiring a firm.

You got the job subed to you for £205 becuase that is what it was worth to hire a man to do it if that makes sense?

For example a firm may cost £15k a month to open the doors, but a man working for that firm only requires £2,000 a month to live.

The money the guy made out the job, although healthy, has to pay for the running of the business and all the overheads plus making a profit to keep the place healthy.
