I used to trade off ebay but I got on the bandwagon and do alot of business on there now, its the way selling has gone for alot of people, and if you provide good service on there you do get regular customers from it, so its a good way of advertising as well imho.

Ebay is definatly flawed, and the odds are stacked against sellers nowadays, which is a joke. I would like to see them get some real compitition, but that seems unlikely.

I say traders should move with the times and use it, plenty already do, you will get top money for your parts I bet.

If my business was car parts I would rather pay fees on ebay than the, what, £250 or so it costs on here for a year, you get a far higher audience.
