Defo worth getting grooved discs, these will wear the pads ever so slightly quicker but well worth the improvement as they constantly de glaze the pads ensuring a perfect surface.
Pad wise a very personal thing I like EBC yellowstuff, perfect from old grannies to track cars, the same pads most of the police pursuit cars use btw, a very clean pad too with no noise don't take warming up either, and have ace feeling.
Disc size dependant mostly on wheel size, but even std 2wd 4 pots are a big improvement over the 4wd calipers.

Thanks mate, always guarantee a good answer from you!!yeah,I could never understand the swap from 4 pots, these seem readily available right now!!
So yellows sound good to me too, think their about £80 a set on the bay?
Frs discs sound a good upgrade,I'm on 17" wheels so I should be ok I think?
Any ideas if they do a refurb kit?I've seen one on eBay for an escos rear caliper but I'm not sure if it's the same as the saph,I know most bits are
interchangeable but I'm getting mixed messages on the rears.
