the kits needs a lot of work to finnish then maybe 2 or 3 goes at getting it through the IVA test, then all the crap with DVLA, where as i can get a rolling shell, stick the engine in and just change the CC on the log book, i could have the engine in a sierra and running in a weekend, the kit car will take weeks and still many £1k, don't get me wrong, i would love to finnish the kit car, but i haven't the time with working in America now, i will be coming to the uk for a holiday about April next year, and would hope to do the sierra in the first week or 2 so i can have some fun, if i stick with the kit i would end up doing it the hole time i was in the uk and never have any fun, and it still wouldn't be tested when i come back to the states.
