im gonna contact the lad i got it off to see why he changed the metering unit as if he was having the same trouble before, it may well be something else causing the problem, im gonna book it in to a local firm near me called basford dynotune,
they have got a decent reputation , not sure of anywhere else in nottingham to take it,
i dont wanna end up shedding out around £100 for a set up just for them to turn round & say theyve spent a few hours but cant bottom the fault etc

ive had another few hours on it today,
ive took the rocker breather off & cleaned that out,
& also noticed that when i take the oil cap off it seems to level out & run a bit more evenly,
ive gone over all the boost pipes & vac pipes to check for splits & holes etc, disconected the cold start,
temp sensor
im tempted to put the old metering unit back on & see if it runs any differently

it starts first time from cold & runs ok, splutters when you rev it but seems ok on tickover,
then it drops off when it warms up & starts to odd leg,
but if i take the oil cap off it runs a little more evenly but still misses,
when driving it you seem to run ok low revs but once it boosts up it splutters n farts
