Ok, my 2wd saff has been smoking on tickover, but seems to disappear after a 10-15 min run. Doesnt smoke much if at all after this. Start the car the next day, smoke again and so on. So i have removed the engine to change the sump gasket as it was leaking oil also.

I decided to whipp the head off and fit a complete upper gasket set including valve seals. I have so far found that the inlet from the throttle body elbow through to the trumpets etc are coated in oil. Now I would have thought turbo, but after removing the turbo, theres no sign of oil anywhere.

Could this still be valve seals and the oils just running down the inlet somehow ?? heres a picture of the inside of the plenum chamber.
