chopshop its kind of wierd. Say youve done 10 years in the forces (as matt and me have roughly), you spend most your time away or living on base or within the service community away from the civvy world. Now wether we like it or not the world has changed massively in the last ten years alone for the WORSE in terms of social decline, drug crime, lack of respect, selfishness etc.

All those things are at odds with the service ethos and culture so when you go back into the civvy world you suddenly find you are in a completely new world from how it was. And that can be in only a short time like 5-10 years.

Hence why so many are pissed off and angry with how the world has turned to shit. Makes you think sometimes why you bother!! Some of the scum in our country only have the ability to exist based on the sacrifices of our brave troops through 2 world wars and then even now soldiers die supposedly to protect our way of life. And quite frankly no wonder some are fucking angry when they realise the way of life they have given and lost so much to protect in a significant proportion of cases isnt worth the sacrifice and not worth saving....

Half the scum cunts in this country i wouldnt piss on if they were on fire.....

doesnt help that the government are just as bad and using our troops as political pawns and betraying their trust with lies and phoney reasons for going to war. War is a horrible thing and should be a last resort.

Its even worse when people have been in 20-30 years!
