i've heared way too many stories of on/off braking and warped discs wih ebc in the same sentence so i have never and will never give them ago!

dont know about mintex, dont seem to hear anything bad about them.

i really want to try ferrodo ds2500 on my focus with st170 brake conversion but are a bit dear so when i did the conversion at christmas i stuck on some ebay grooved discs (machined delphi's that only cost £20 more for the pair) and standard ferrodo premiers. they work BRILLIANTLY!! haul my 2l focus up from 70 VERY quickly and even on a bone dry road with my sticky hancook ventus tyres the abs started to kick in so if on a budget just get the premiers.
