I know I have 240v going into the transformer but the instructions say it needs a load and a special meter to test it - certainly my multimeter isn't getting a reading at the output side.
Any ideas, or where I can get a 60va traditional transformer?.
Hi fella, try screwfix or tlc even b&q if your stumped.it should never burn out that quick though so check the wiring out and that no insulation etc has fallen on top of the lights as they've got to get pretty hot to blow a trans that quick.
Low voltage are wank IMHO but still that's a poor showing, check the bulbs are deffo 12v and that your getting 12v out of the trans, usually the bigger the better but worth checking,as less volts means more amps hence the premature death of it.
