On a 3.6 diff its over 31mph/1000revs so completely useless. If you use a 4.1 diff to compensate the bottom 2 gears then are hopeless.
That 6th gear was an overdrive gear for the Yanks.
The box was much cheaper than buying a new T5 so 6th gear is a bonus, if I can cruise along saving petrol on the motorway I will be happy.
Out of interest, ifmy 5.4 litre engine makes 350bhp at 5500 revs with a 2WD Cosworth diff do you rekon it could pull 170 ???
