thing is i know that the auto shift stick has to have a mechanical link to select 'park' so it can eject the locking pin but what about the other gears?
or will i still need a mechanical link for the lever but when its in drive i can just inform it when to change?
far as i know it just needs rpm and car speed so it knows when to change up or down, or kick down ect.....

im going to have an electronic speedo on the dax so i wonder how hard it would be to use the granny ecu and just tap the wires were i need to so i can just shove the ecu under the scuttle and give it the inof it needs just to work the gearbox
