sorted the problem.
when i had the loom removed from the engine bay i retaped parts of it to make it more tidy.
there was 1 wire was joined which was to long so i cut it and rejoined it

not sure what its for but this is causing the problem, i disconnected the wire and it's fine now.
1 wire is brown, 1 wire is red so one must be a live and the other must be an earth.
i don't know why they where joined together?
i kept the wire and tested it for continuity, there was'nt any continuity through the wire.
