Hi!

I was called out to look at a work mates car that had been behaving erratically and then stopped. When i got to the car there was no water in the radiator or header, it refused to start and was towed back to my house. (At this point i suspected the coil or leads as there was some browning to the leads)

I have checked each cylinder for spark and it also has fuel ( wet plugs) both of which it has, i also checked for water in the oil of which there is none but i suppose if it had no water in the engine then there wouldn't be. (i have not compression tested the engine as i don't have the kit)

I don't know if the lack of water is responsible for the stopping of the car but i thought it was worth a mention.

Can you please suggest other things for me to look at / try to narrow the search for the problem down?

It has a spark and fuel.
