I wouldnt spend £6k on a mk4 golf gti, personally, sure some people would but i don't see it as great value, despite the good spec yours is.

Big choice of motors available at 6k. Audi TT's, good e46 BMW's (330i's etc) Civic TypeR's, Evo 5/6(maybe?), Bi-Turbo S4, could probably get an anniversary edition golf for 7k too.
