No harm in checking turbo as described above, I still think stem seals though as from what you said it's doing it on overrun, I would have thought if turbo it would be doing it more when driving/boosting and normally turbo is white smoke (exhaust side), blue smoke shows the oil is being burnt.

Point I was making the fact it's oil smoke shows it's nothing to do with the fuel.
