If you take the cover off the oil pump, by undoing the 3 10mm bolts you can see how much scoring there is to the under surface of the cover, if very light, this can be skimmed, if not sure about checking clearances etc it would be wise to just pay £24 or so for a new std pinto pump, this is exactly the same except the cover part that feeds the spray bar for the under piston oil cooling, the pinto doesn't use this feature so the cover is just a flat cover affair with no oil output hole.
60 psi is fine, 70/80/90 not needed(on this engine at that level) and use power to produce higher pressures, no advantage in higher hp oil pumps when not needed such as here.
