Well, I’m lucky enough to have a spare car, for when the Cossie needs things done to it. (Golf VR6 with 17 OZ’s AVO’s Full Stainless Steel exhaust including lovely six into one tubular header manifold.) I’m also lucky that I have a huge double garage, which is well equipped with everything from lifting crane to pillar drill press to air tool wrenches to help in the speed of work that needs to be carried out. All work done on my Cossie is carried out by me, unless specialist machining/mapping is required, that I don’t have the tools for. On road/in service ratio……… well drove it for three years with no real expense and no off road time, then upgraded to 380 BHP with brakes etc. £8000 and 3 months later I have my car. Cheers John
