Ive got it booked in at my local Ford dealer for next thursday, at a cost of £75+VAT. I asked about a 'good will' reduction and was told they would have to do the diagnostic first, then depending on what it brings up they might be able to apply to Ford for a reduction.

So they want me to pay £88 before I can find out if I may get a bit of money back. And people wonder why dealers have a bad reputation? That doesnt sound like 'good will' to me.

And the light has not been on for 8 days now, is it worth it? I didnt dare ask about a PCM update, Ive already got one mortgage, cant afford 2!
