i logged onto the confused.com website, entered in my details as if i was 17, my car is a mk1 fiesta 957cc, it will be garaged, only 4000ish miles a year and driven for social domestic and pleasure only. this quote is if it was a completley standard car.....£2722

the car isnt going to be completley standard anyway, it should have pepperpots and only 2 seats in it by the time im done.... £2772

same money i know, but £2772 insurance for a car that will be worth less than half that if it was MINT (its far from at the moment)
how can insurance for a 30hp 28year old fiesta be so damn expensive
and ive checked on places like direct line etc and some want over 4 grand!!
has anyone else got this problems or any tips how to lower the quote?
