WHICH GRS intercooler did you test it against? Where is the proof? What temps was it tested with and how many hours before the two were tested against each other? On who's rollers and which one was tested first. What was the engine temps and ACT before the run was done. I could go on but you get the idea?
Everyone i have tested over the last 12years has out perfromed every other cooler. With no bias views from mags or people who make money from it or a freebie when fitted to a car for a feature... Dont belive everything you read in a mag. Some times the person writing the feature will have their own agenda.
Also if this is the case. AND the GRS did have a boost drop.........
i would much rather have the boost drop than the high ACT
So not everything is black and white.
wind your neck in jano
i simply replied to the 2 post above saying that the pace interwarmer is a better cooler for std boost than the grs is.did i mention i was running std boost, the topic starter never mentioned what boost he was running either, but people come on and slate the DC without even knowing what boost or power he's running,if he came on and said im running 12psi above then the DC is not recommended,so my answer was based on IF he was running std boost the grs is not needed and the DC will suffice.so exactly why i said the DC will be a better option than the grs at std boost as you say yourself, why would you want to run a grs with 10psi
now lets move along to the testing of my grs cooler, tests were conducted by AVA on there rolling road,do you have a rolling road jano?????do you even have premises to work from or you still working from your storage cupboard out your back???so my reply to the pressure drop was warranted as it was tested by someone with 30+years in tuning cars and bikes and not some back street tuner that works from a portacabin in his garden.id much rather have a pressure drop than high act's aswell, exactly why i choose the grs and not the DC for my old erst, but id much rather have an AVA cooler which has no pressure drop and low acts's,have you tested one of them???i know your clued up on rst's but dont come across as a cock and know it all jano.the DC cooler is ideal for std boost applications against the grs which is over engineered for a std boost erst.and will work your turbo harder than what is needed.you want to fit grs coolers to your std boosting cars and run the turbo at 4psi more than your gettin at the inlet then batter in
