Yeah ive heard about the audi transmission. Although the only kit that uses an Audi set up is the SPD using a transverse gearbox set up with a 1.8T FAG engine.
I thought it might have been possible,another one I just thought of and an engine that will make stupid bhp and be reliable is the Audi 5 pot set up like used on the Audi 80/90 and coupe.you could buy a complete s2 if you want the big power to start with.if you run it on audi hubs etc you get the same stud pattern as ford,108pcd so u could use original wheels.......if you can find them of course!!!
Whatever you do if you go with the 5 pot set up don't get it tuned at field motorsport like jogi did!!!
