We found with ours she hates dry dog food, but loves cat food?can't eat enough of it!!!we did have her on mince for months, she loved it when I made it as I put an oxo cube in and a bit of salt and pepper, chucked some bits of bread in and she would literally try and eat it boiling hot out of the pan!!of course, the missus decides she knows best and cooks it up from frozen with no flavour etc and bella soon clocks onto it and won't eat it.
Dogs I find are a bit like kids,if you leave it long enough they get hungry and give in and eat what you want.if there's an abbotoir near you that sells to the public you can get minced hearts, liver etc off them that's not for humans,I was paying about 50p a kilo iirc and she never complained.
Never feed a dog bread, it causes ear infections.
Also Salt is another bad one. If you get the hearts freeze them for a few weeks before you give them the dog.
