hi all, please advice me what 2 do next with my rs, problem is ive hade new cam belt and tappets fitted, and the car rattled worse than b4, hade my m8 back to check the timing and said it was bang on, he then put a seond hand camshaft, in witch made it sounds than b4, i looked on the net yesturday and found a site www.enginestuff.co.uk that sell new camshafts, but the say there are 2 differnt size camshaft and tappets, oversizes and standard, if this is ture, maby ive got the wrong size tappets at the start, and mine are oversized like the www.enginestuff.co.uk sayes, my m8 now says my tappets and cam must have bin the over sizes ones, and thats why it rattled when we put normal tappetd in, and he thinks now the secondhand camshaft he put in must be the standard, and he told me if this is the case ill have to get another head incase the damage is done by putting a normal camshaft in and not to bother buying just a new camshaft, i done realy want to change the head if i dont have 2, does any1 no anything about ford putting over sizes cam/tappets in mk4 rs turbo? i will buy brand new cam/tappets, but witch sizes? and how do i find out? or is it to late and i need a new head, thanks martin
