Yep, easy answers mate:
Get a pinto crank, you will need to have it dowelled to stop the flywheel / torque converter bolts shearing, it's not much less strong than the cossie one for the sort of power outputs we are talking (and the bearings are cheaper.)
Otherwise, you could get a six bolt pinto steel crank with dowel holes for about 700 quid (probably much less if you import it from Esslinger in the US.
A pinto crank and bearings fit straight into a 205 block and the conrods bolt straight up
P.S. Still don't know about the bellhousing issue though!!
