Due to the purchase of an FRS mk1 i have my bullet proof CVH engine for sale. This engine has made 300bhp with the right bits.
It has a Field M/Sport bottom end including a baffled sump, knife edged ballanced crank, H-section rods and forged Cosworth pistons and ARP bolts, this was built by Tommy Field with no expense spared and happily revs to 7200!!!!!
The head is a NMS big valve item with huge ports on the inlet and exhaust, the cam is a Newman one with solid lifters and the correct springs etc. This engine is amazing. it has a 7:8 comp ratio.
I will not split this engine unless I have a buyer for the block and head.
