Jeees, if it's not one thing .............. seem to be going through one disaster after another at the moment. First, the grill blows up in the kitchen, then the dishwasher dies, and then her iron packs in............all of which I could cope with - except, now the Focus wants to get in on the act

Drive into work this morning - no problems at all.

Come out of work tonight, get into the car, start her up and put my foot on the clutch pedal, only to discover that it's as sloppy as hell. Quick look underneath reveals fluid dripping from the bellhousing so I'm guessing it's the slave cylinder ????? Does that sound right ?

So, the car is now stuck at work in Croydon, and whilst I'd love to take on the job myself to save some money, I don't have anywhere to fix her or the tools for the job.

Anyone recommend somewhere in the Croydon area that could do the job ? Anyone want to take on the job ?

How much should I expect to pay - I'm presuming I should have a complete clutch done whilst the box is out ?
