Default Picked up my refurbed calipers this morning.. (Pic's)

I discovered the calipers on my car were in abit of a state at it's most recent MOT, my options at the time were ether buy seal kit and fix them myself or have them professionally rebuilt.

I decided to have a go at doing it myself and bought a seal kit from Bigg Red Ltd in Worcester but after seeking advise from a few of you on here it was pretty obvious that I wasn't going to be able to do it myself.

So, last Wednesday I took them upto Bigg Red returned the seals and asked them if they would refurb them for me, I was originally told they'd be ready to pick up Tuesday (10th) morning but the paint didn't arrive in time and they weren't ready till Wednesday.

The calipers were stripped, shot blasted, painted in "post box red" using a special polymer paint and then rebuilt using new pistons, seals, bleed screws etc..

Anyway, here's a couple of pics of what they looked like the day before I dropped them off:

And when I picked them up this morning:

I'm pretty pleased with the quality of the finish, they look and will hopefully feel brand new when I put them back on.

Total cost was £169 for the pair, will be looking to have the rears done as soon as the abs system has been removed.

*EDIT* Quick question, brake fluid, I'm assuming I need to buy DOT 5.1, is that correct?
