Gave my mate a cheque for £3k on Monday morning. He banked it's Monday morning. The money was out of my account Monday afternoon. It's still not in his account as of today.
What's that all a out then? But I could have sent it through electronically with immediate effect at the cost of £30.

HSBC though have been ok with me for eveything other than a mortgage where they asked too many question and the. Said they had to finish the application form even though they wouldn't be able to lend me the loan amount I was after so I walked out
