I would if I could!!!

Now that the cams are off some off, some of the hyd tappets are squashy and some not, should they all be in squashy mode when being refitted?
The ones with movement squeeze about 3-4 mm the solid ones dont budge at all, seems they're at their open position and wont compress. Whats best to do here?
