yea it'll be alot better to buy the replacement, they did sell them at one point in halfords whether they still do i'm not sure, i no them mcguards are very hard crome though so weather it would of actually worked i don't know.

i'v got the piece of paper here with me, it says you need the 17 digit code it'll cost £12 but subject to change without warning it says here but my locking nuts are only a year or so old so hopefully not changed much, it also says you need to send all the info with name, address and card details to cs@mcguard.de.

but i'd much rather phone there customer service number first to make sure they get everything needed to send the replacement out witch is 0080025993400 and open mon-fri 08,00-17,00h CET (what ever time zone that is i don't know ) hope this helps you get it sorted.

i couldn't get a replacement when i lost mine as i lost the paper and key and had to change the clutch before i had a long drive to somewhere can't remem and my clutch was so bad it was sticking in gear, and ended up in a big panic needing them removed the sat morning ready for doing the clutch to keep the ex happy wish i hadn't bothered now
