Hi I know this maybe a little late, but ive done this conversion a few times. Il start with a list of parts you need.
2.0 zetec
1.6/1.8 escort/fiesta zetec sump, oil pickup, flywheel, water pump
mk3 cvh engine mount (no need to modify, 2 boltholes line up and are adequate)
rs turbo clutch (bolts straight onto 1.6 flywheel above)
ashley ashm20 manifold or drill/tap head to accept cvh manifold
mk3/5/6 escort gearbox
mk3 cvh gearbox mounts
mk6 escort top hose
series 1 turbo/xr3i radiator
mk5/6 escort bottom hose
Mondeo engine loom/ecu to include chipped key/transponder, key reader etc/
fuel pump/sender assy.
if you want to run carbs or throttle bodies then you may still use mondeo loom to run ignition or go aftermarket ecu. all depends how good you are with electrics.
