Did the rozzers know he was 70 at the time, did they get chance to get his details before he fucked off?

Although I think it was very heavy handed the rozzers are in effect dealing with an unknown, he's scarpered once from them so I presume they have to prepare themselves incase the guy abit of a loon, and using heavy handed tactics to put the shits up the guy is really the only way,
The past couple of months have seen innocent people getting shot by loons, for all the rozzers knew this guy could have been another loon.


Top and bottom though, the old dude should have worn his seatbelt in the 1st place, not fucked off and certainly should have stopped when the rozzer came up behind him.
