mk6 escort 1.6 finesse ...

got a high pitch squealing noise coming from front passnger side.
does it on and off, but going round corners one way it doesnt do it, going round corners the other way it does it even worse.

also jacked the wheel up gripped it at 12 and 6 o clock, and there is quite a bit of movement in the wheel. does this sound like wheel bearing .. ?

if this is wheel bearing how do you got about replacing it?
had such a nightmare with car recently. did clutch, then drivers side driveshaft was making a hell of a noise, now this...

do you need a press or something to remove it? how do you do it. seen new bearings for 13 quid on ebay.

or would i be better off getting a second hand hub? and switching over.

help plz!!
