...IIRC it was a manual shift in the FPA when I did mine, the paddle shift, video and lap stats stuff is an ultra cool addition.
Been 6 years since I did my 'Magnificent 7' day at Palmersport for my 21st and it still brings back amazing memories... not cheap day by any means, but if you're into cars/track driving/balls to the wall blasts then I'll 110% guarantee that you'd enjoy this.

you are right! they were years ago. Had Audi Turbo engines and a 5 speed Hewland Dog box!
They were gooood.
They updated them 3 years ago. Muuuuch better now with Jag engine and sequential paddle shift
6 years? I can barely last 6 weeks with out going!!!
I try and get down once a month in the 'season' that its open for.
what other cars you drive? 6 years ago. from memory was that.... clio cup racer, caterham, Evo, 911, Frontera, kart, FPA single seater?
or was it Honda S2000 instead of 911?
